Art Paintings For Sale By Toby Mayhew I live in the Ipswich/Woodbridge area of Suffolk and earn my living as a Gardener. My paintings tend to be a product of both playful and studied exploration of light, colour and form, using mainly gouache and acrylic paints and sometimes oils. I currently have several art paintings for sale on this site.

I often tend to use imaginary landscapes as a context and vehicle for "painterly expeditions" I like to get involved and be 'moved' during the process rather than reproduce any concept or photo used as a point of departure.

My aim is usually to produce an image that might give simple 'decorative' pleasure, but which might also stimulate and reward the viewer's own continued exploration.
